    Tips / FAQs

    • Recommended image formats: PNG or high‑quality JPEG. Avoid complex transparency if your PDF renderer compresses it.
    • Size/aspect ratio: match the export format (e.g., A4 landscape) to prevent stretching; keep a 10–15 mm safe margin.
    • Static text: keep it minimal on the background; use Helix dynamic fields for bilingual and personalized content.
    • Signatures: if you show instructor signatures, ensure the feature is enabled and signature images are uploaded in instructor profiles.
    • Versioning: name files clearly (e.g., certificate_FR_v2025.png, certificate_EN_v2025.png) for auditability.
    • Cache: after replacing a background, regenerate a fresh PDF to confirm the update.
