Client Platform Creation & Configuration

This guide outlines how to create a new Vivaclient, configure general settings, set up the associated Moodle environment, and enable the required modules.

Step-by-step Instructions

1) Creating the Vivaclient

  1. Name: enter the Vivaclient’s full name.
  2. Contact email: enter the registrar’s email (must be unique).
  3. URI: define the short code that will appear in the URL (e.g., URI.formationloisirsport.net).
  4. Fill in address fields.
  5. Add legal text to display on the platform and emails.
  6. Logo: upload JPEG (600×200).
  7. Certificate: upload a custom diploma template if needed (JPEG 3300×2550).
  8. Header: image for course catalog (JPEG 1000×125).
  9. Check e-catalog if applicable.
  10. Add required URLs.
  11. Enter HTML color codes (dark and light).
  12. Enter payment account details.
  13. Select the necessary options (see Modules section).
  14. Add extra student profile fields if required.
  15. Specify existing Moodle category (or let the system create it automatically).
  16. Click Create to finalize.

2) Creating the Moodle environment

  1. Click the Moodle button for the relevant Vivaclient.
  2. Click Create New.
  3. Select the required environment.
  4. Click Moodle + to finalize.

3) Vivaclient options and modules

Examples of available modules:

  • Restricted: limits dashboard access.
  • Notify registrar: sends system notifications to registrar.
  • Diploma generation.
  • Enable invoicing.
  • Badge, accreditation, skills, certification modules.
  • Code of ethics, instructor signature, membership.
  • Cheque payments, electronic payments, coupons.
  • Group booking module, events module.
  • Account statement management, newsletter opt-in.
  • Barcode attendance, replace catalog with activity selection.

  • Ensure all images (logo, header, certificate) meet size and format requirements.
  • Only enable necessary modules to optimize performance.
