Guide – Registration and Assignment Method for registration manager

This guide explains how to register for a course through the catalog or search tool, assign purchased seats to participants, and modify assignments if needed.
Step-by-step Instructions
1) Registration process
- Open the catalog or the course search tool.
- Select the desired course and click Register now (catalog) or Add to cart (search tool).
- Finalize the order using the cart steps.
- Choose the number of participants and click Next step.
- Confirm your order to complete the purchase.
- Your registrations will then appear in the My Purchases tab.
Note: If a registrar creates registrations for you, they will appear in each participant’s My Registrations tab, not in your purchases.
2) Assigning participants
- On the confirmation screen or in My Purchases, click Assign to a participant.
- Select an existing participant from the dropdown list or create a new participant (name + email).
- Always check for duplicates before creating a new participant record.
Assignment ensures the participant’s name appears on the attendance list and the certificate is issued correctly.
3) Editing assignments
- Until the day before the course, you can replace an assigned participant.
- Click Replace participant and assign the seat to a new person.
Tips
- Designate a single registration manager within your organization.
- Maintain a central file with usernames, passwords, and participant codes.
- Complete assignments promptly to avoid missing participants before the session.
